In 1973, the first professional car service center in Egypt started off by servicing the most prestigious automobiles under the name of Electronic Car Service (WAHDAN). The location was 11 El-Farik Aboud Street, Agouza; and shortly in 1974, the center became the first and only authorized workshop for the BMW brand in Egypt.
By 1975, Electronic Car Service (WAHDAN)- benefiting from the international training experience of its founders in German automobile factories- had added Mercedes-Benz to its list of serviced brands, maintaining its reputation as the leading service center for the top end brands.
As time passed, management realized the imperativeness of expansion, and thus, established its second branch at 51st Maraghy Street, Agouza. By then, the volume of automobiles allowed the company to separate between brands keeping Mercedes-Benz in El-Farik Aboud branch and moving BMW and Volkswagen to Maraghy Branch.
By 1995, ECS (WAHDAN) managed to be enlisted as an authorized dealer for Peugeot in Maraghy branch. By 1996, the branch managed to garner the awards and became one of the best and elite Peugeot service centers in Egypt.
The success of Peugeot with ESC (WAHDAN) and the rapid expansion in October City, prompted ECS's management to head west and build the latest technologically advanced service centers in October City. By 1999, the new branch was designed and approved by Mercedes-Benz planning engineers, and within one year, the October Branch became the largest automobile service center in October City with covering the broadest range of operations from mechanical, electrical, upholstery, to body and paint repairs.
The new October branch began its official operations on July 10th, 2000 and shortly after its reputation proceeded it as one of the top service centers in Egypt equipped with the latest and most sophisticated equipment in the industry of auto repair, a feat that has allowed the branch to become an authorized service center for Skoda in 2003 and for Hyundai in 2007.
Currently, ECS (WAHDAN) is an authorized dealer for Peugeot, Skoda, and Hyundai and continues to provide elite service for Mercedes and BMW.
